DAL CHEESE IDLI

INGREDIENTS

CHEESE - 50 GM
MOONG DAL ( SPLIT GREEN GRAM ) - 1 CUP
GREEN CHILLI - 3 CHOPPED
GINGER - 1 INCH PIECE ( GRATED )
GREEN CORIANDER -  CHOPPED
ENO - 1 TBSP
MUSTARD SEEDS - 1 TSP
CURRY LEAVES - 7  TO 8
DAL CHANA ( SPLIT BENGAL GRAM)  - 1 TBSP
CUMIN SEEDS - 1 TBSP
CURD - 2 TBSP
OIL - 1 TBSP
ASAFOETIDA - 1 PINCH

METHOD

Soak moong dal for 1 hour.
Drain water &  blend moong dal .
Mix curd to  the batter .
Heat oil in pan add cumin seeds, mustard seeds,ginger, green chilli,curry leaves and chana dal.
Saute it for 15 seconds & switch
off the  flame.
Mix this tempering in batter. Add salt, cheese, asafoetida, and eno to the batter
 Now take idli maker, greese it and pour this batter to make cottage cheese dal idli.
 After 10 minutes idli  is ready to eat.
Serve these idli with green coriander chutney.
