Indian Gooseberry Pickle(Amla pickle)


INGREDIENTS

GOOSEBERRY (AMLA) -200 GM
MUSTARD OIL - 1/2 CUP
MUSTARD SEEDS -3 TBSP
CUMIN SEEDS -2 TBSP
FENNEL SEEDS -4 -5 TBSP
KALAUNJI -2 TBSP
CORIANDER SEEDS -5 TBSP
SALT - 1 TBSP
TURMERIC POWDER -1 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER - 1 TSP
GREEN CHILLI - 3 TO 4


METHOD

First roast all the spices  on medium flame.
After cooling make a powder of spices.
Steam amla ( gooseberry) for 20 minutes.

Cut it and remove the seed after cooling.
Heat mustard oil and add green chilli ,amla, turmeric powder in it.
Now add spice powder and in last add salt.

Your delicious and very healthy pickle is ready to serve. You can pour it in one jar and  use it for 1 to 2 month.
