INGREDIENTS

GRAM FLOUR (BESAN) - 200 GM
CURD - 2.5 CUP
SALT - ACCORDING TO TASTE
RED CHILLI POWDER - 1/2 TSP
CORRIANDER POWDER - 1 TBSP
GARAM MASALA - 1/4 TSP
KASURI METHI - 2 TBSP
CAROM SEEDS - 1 PINCH
TURMERIC POWDER - 1 TSP
CORRIANDER LEAVES -HANDFULL CHOPPED
TOMATO PUREE  -1 CUP
GINGER PASTE -1 TEASPOON
OIL -2 TBSP


METHOD -

Take gram flour in a bowl and mix carom seeds,oil,salt ,baking soda and curd. Mix it properly and make a dough which should be neither more soft nor more tight. Leave this dough for 10 minutes. Now take a pan and boil water. Till then we make long rolls with the help of palm and oil.
  When water boiled then dip these rolls one by one.These are our gatte .Flame should be high to make  gatte. After 6 or 7 minutes check gatte. If they cooked then take them out and keep them for cool down.
     we will make curry for gatte ki sabji.
 For this we have to take pan  with some oil and heat it . Now mix heeng,cumin seeds , turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder, garam masala,and tomato puree and ginger paste in it. Then we have to pour blended curd slowly and stir it continuously.
  When curry boils add kasuri methi in it . Now I want to say you that curry should be not very thick because gatte absorbs curry ..gatte will be soft  by this process.
    Now add gatte in the curry (cut into one inch  pieces,)Our gatte curry is ready to serve.Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
 This is specifically rajesthani dish and very popular in India. The good part of this curry is that it is tasty and onion less.
