A SLICE OF HYDERABAD

Karachi Bakery is one of Hyderabad’s oldest and most iconic bakeries, carrying a legacy that has delighted generations since 1953.

It is especially famous for its legendary Osmania biscuits, a perfect blend of sweetness and saltiness that melts beautifully with every bite.

The bakery’s rich history and heritage make it much more than just a place to buy baked treats. (

Karachi Bakery was founded in 1953 by Khanchand Ramnani, a Sindhi Hindu refugee who migrated from Karachi to India during the 1947 Partition. He named the bakery after his hometown to preserve his heritage. Famous for its iconic fruit biscuits and Osmania biscuits, the bakery started as a small shop in Hyderabad's Moazzam Jahi Market.

The moment I stepped inside, I was amazed by the incredible variety of freshly baked delights. From crispy rusks,

biscuits, and cookies to soft cakes, pastries, muffins, and many more tempting treats, every shelf looked

irresistible. The display of cakes, ranging from small celebration cakes to grand festive ones, was truly impressive.

I bought three boxes of their famous Osmania biscuits and couldn’t resist trying one of their delicious pastries. Every bite

reflected the love and tradition that this bakery has preserved for decades. Even now, I find myself missing the

unforgettable taste of those biscuits.

One of the most beautiful things about Karachi Bakery is the
