KESAR DA DHABA
Kesar Da Dhaba, a legendary vegetarian eatery, started in 1916 in Sheikhupura (now Pakistan) by Lala Kesar Mal,
moving to Amritsar post-Partition in 1947, known for its rich Punjabi food like slow-cooked Dal Makhani and ghee-laden parathas, attracting famous visitors including Nehru and Indira Gandhi, and becoming a timeless Amritsar institution near Hathi gate.Kesar Da Dhaba is known for its delicious and traditional Punjabi food. It is very old and famous for its authentic flavours. I tried dal makhani, aloo paratha, and paneer paratha here,
and everything tasted amazing.
What impressed me the most was the patience of the people standing in the long queue for food.
It truly shows how loved this place is. The food was perfect, satisfying, and absolutely yummy.
