Dadpe Poha


INGREDIENTS

POHA - 1.5 CUP
WATER - 1/2 CUP
SUGAR - 2 TBSP
SALT - ACCORDING TO TASTE
PEANUTS - 1/2 CUP
COCONUT - 1/2 GRATED
ONION - 1 FINELY CHOPPED
GREEN CHILLI - 2 CHOPPED
ASAFOETIDA - 1 PINCH
CUMIN SEEDS - 1/2 TSP
MUSTARD SEEDS - 1 TBSP
CURRY LEAVES -  5 TO 1
OIL -3 TBSP 
LEMON JUICE - 1/2 LEMON 

METHOD


First wash poha properly and add  little water  in poha for 10 minutes to make soft it.
  After 10 minutes add coconut , lemon juice ,&onion into poha.
Now make a tempering of olive oil, peanuts, asafoetida, curry leaves,cumin seeds and mustard seeds.
 Mix this tempering in  poha.

Garnish it with some chopped coriander.
 This is a maharashtrian dish known as dadpe poha.
Coconut & poha is a healthy combination.
This combination is beneficial for gut health, bone health, sugar management and weight loss.

Poha serves as an excellent source of carbohydrates, which are the body’s primary source of energy.
