Kantola sabji




INGREDIENTS

KAKORE - 250 GM
MUSTARD OIL -2 TO 3 TBSP
SALT - ACCORDING TO TASTE
TURMERIC POWDER - 1/2 TBSP
RED CHILLI POWDER - 1 TBSP
CORRIANDER POWDER -2 TSP
FENNEL SEEDS POWDER - 2 TBSP
CUMIN SEEDS -1 TSP
ASAFOETIDA - 2 PINCH
AMCHUR  POWDER -2 TSP
WATER -1/4 CUP
GREEN CHILLI 1-2 CHOPPED
GINGER - GRATED 1 INCH PIECE

METHOD

Kakore is also known as kantola.
first wash kakore  2 to 3times in water.
Cut kakores  from top and bottom and then in 4 parts equally.
Take oil in the pan and heat it.
Add cumin seeds,  salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder,fenel seeds powder, and  do fry kakore for 5 minutes.

Now add some water and cover the lid to cook kakore for 5 minutes.
Add amchur powder,and green coriander .
Kakores are ready to serve with chapati, parantha and poori.
