Sarso ka saag

INGREDIENTS

MUSTARD - 1 KG
GOOSEFOOT - 250 GM
SPINACH - 500 GM
GREENCHILLI - 10
GINGER - 2 PIECES
GARLIC - 20 PIECES
MAKKA ATTA - 2 CUP

METHOD

  clean sarso,spinach,and goosefoot by  cutting leaves and wash it in running water .
Now peel and cut the ginger, garlic and  chilli.
 Add these all in cooker  with little water and boil it.
 After 3 whistles  open the pressure cooker and mash saag in the mixi.
Now  cook this saag with 2 big spoon makka aata for 15 to 20 minutes on mid flame.
This 2 spoon makka aata in the saag will make our saag more delicious. 
Now you can keep it in refrigerator  for 3 weeks and can  eat it by tempering it with ghee, chopped onion and  mashed tomatoes salt and red chilli powder  .
You can serve this sarso ka saag ( mustard saag)with makka chapati.  Enjoy this   Punjabi saag which is healthy and full of nutrients .coming soon with my new recipe till then bye and take care.
