SOYA CHAAP

INGREDIENTS


SOYA CHAAP -  300 GM

ONION - 3 SIMPLY CHOPPED

TOMATO - 3 CHOPPED

GREEN CHILLIES - 3

GINGER - 1 INCH PIECE

GARLIC - 7-8 PIECES

SALT - ACCORDING TO TASTE

RED CHILLI POWDER -1/2 TBSP

GARAM MASALA - 2 TBSP

TURMERIC POWDER - 1 TSP

KASURI METHI -1 ½ TBSP

OIL -  1 CUP

WATER - 1 CUP

CURD - 5 TBSP

CHAAT MASALA - 1 TBSP

EGG CURRY MASALA - 2 TBSP

HOMEMADE BUTTER - 2 TBSP


METHOD


Remove sticks from  the chaap.

Cut the chaaps into equal pieces.

Heat oil in the pan and fry these chaap pieces on low flame for 4-5 minutes

Add butter,chaat masala,curd and egg curry masala in fried chaaps to marinate.

Grind, tomato, green chillies,ginger and garlic .

In left oil,fry chopped onions till then it becomes golden brown in colour.

Grind these golden fried onions.

Heat oil, add 2 cardamom,1 inch piece of cinnamon,and 4 cloves ,add a grind mixture of tomatoes and  cook it till  it leaves oil.

Now add a grind mixture of onions.

Add salt, turmeric,red chilli powder,coriander powder.

 Add  marinated chaaps in the pan  and cook for a few minutes.

Cover with lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Add garam masala and kasuri methi in it.

Cook for a few moments.

Now,  hot soya chaap  is ready to serve. You can serve it with chapati ,naan and rice.
