A VILLAGE DISH KHEER AND PUA

INGREDIENTS

FOR PUA

WHEAT FLOUR  - 1 CUP
JAGGERY -  50 GM
COCONUT BURA - 2 TBSP
SUGAR - 3 TBSP
FENNEL SEEDS - 2 TBSP

FOR KHEER
BROKEN RICE - 1/2 CUP
MILK  -750 GM
SUGAR -  1.5 CUP
CARDAMOM POWDER - 2 PINCH
SAFFRON - 4 THREADS

METHOD

For kheer
Take a pan and pour milk. When it is boiled properly then add soak broken rice. Then add cardamom powder and 4 threads of saffron. Now keep the flame middle and boil this mixture for 1/2 an hour. When it will left 3/4 then add sugar and stir it till it become thick mix.
  Your sweet and delicious kheer is ready to serve.

FOR PUA
Firstly boil 1 cup water and add jaggery and sugar in it. After mashing keep this mixture for 15 minutes. We will use this water for making pua.

For making pua , take one bowl with flour .Mix coconut bura ,fennel seeds, and add jaggery water and make fine mixture. Don't forget the mixture should be lumps free.
 Take a tava .Heat it .pour 1 spoon oil and spread it with the help of brush. Now pour pua mixture with the help of spoon and spread it in the shape as you want .  Cook these pua from both sides properly.
Now you can serve these pua with kheer and potato saag. This  is delicious sweet dish. You can try and can give your views.
