INGREDIENTS

SPINACH - 1 BUNCH
DAL MOONG - 3/4 CUP
OATS - 1 CUP
ONIONS - 2 CHOPPED
TOMATOES - 2 CHOPPED
GINGER  - 2 INCH PIECE CHOPPED
GARLIC -7 PIECES CHOPPED
CUMIN SEEDS - 2 TEA SPOON
HEENG - 1 PINCH
GHEE  - 3 TBSP
WATER- UPTO 3 INCHES
SALT - ACCORDING TO TASTE
GREEN CORIANDER -1 BUNCH
TURMERIC POWDER - 1 TEASPOON
CORIANDER POWDER -1 TEASPOON
RED CHILLI POWER - FOR TASTE
LEMON JUICE - 1 TBSP
GARAM MASALA - 1 TEA SPOON

METHOD

Wash spinach and dip in hot boiled water for 3 minutes and take out. Now grind this spinach and green coriander together.

Take cooker and pour ghee and heat it.Now mix the cumin seeds and salt .Now mix moong dal (washed and soaked )and oats and some water and cooked it for 2 minutes. Flame should be medium.After 2 whistles switch off the flame.This is our khichdi.
   On the other hand take a pan with ghee and mix Heeng,cumin seeds then onion and chopped tomatoes ,salt, turmeric powder,r ed chilli powder ,coriandar powder and cooked it properly. Now mix the grinded mixture in it and cook this for 2 minutes.A t last mix the khichdi in this pan and combine it finely.
   And to increase the taste of khichdi we have to use some lemon juice and garam masala in our  khichdi.
