MUMMY'S MANGO JAM

INGREDIENTS

MANGO [TYPE  LANGRA]  - 2 kg
MUSTARD  OIL -  1 CUP
BLACK  SALT -  2 SPOON
RED CHILLI  POWDER -  2 SPOON
GRAM MASALA -  2 SPOON
JAGGERY -  200gm
SUGAR - 2 Kg
RAISINS AND DRY DATE - 2 CUP

METHOD -

First of all wash mangoes and keep them in water for half an hour.  Now peel the mangoes and grate them. Don't  forget mangoes should be  raw. Now mix black salt in the grated mangoes.
    Take a  pan and pour  burned mustard  oil and heat it for  a minute  and then  mix garam masala and chilli  powder and keep it a side for cooling.  Invert grated mangoes  and cook  this till the colour changes. Now mix sugar  and jaggery,  raisins, and dry date,very  well. Cook grated mangoes  till it dries. You have to cook this  recipe  at the  low flame otherwise  it will  burn. After it cools down  you can eat this mango jam with  chapati,  bread,  and as you want to eat. In taste  it will be sweet and sour.  Children  like to  eat  mango jam, so now you can make this delicious  jam easily.
