RICH FLAVORS DHOKLA, A GUJARATI DISH

INGREDIENTS

CURD -  1 CUP
GRAM FLOUR -  1/2 CUP
SODA - BI- CARBONATE -  1/2 TSP
TURMERIC POWDER -  1/2 TSP
SUGER -  1 PINCH
LEMON JUICE -  1 TBSP
FRUIT SALT- 1 TSP
SALT & GREEN  CHILLI  -  ACCORDING TO TASTE
WATER -  1 CUP
MANGO POWDER -  1 TSP
OIL- 1 TSP
MUSTARD SEEDS- 1 TSP
CORIANDER LEAVES- 1 BUNCH
GREEN  CHILLI -  5-6
CURRY LEAVES- 7 TO 8
DHOKLA MAKER  ( COOKER)



METHOD

Beat the ingredients ( curd,  flour, soda BI carbonate ,  turmeric  powder ,sugar,  fruit  salt, water, Salt, and mango powder)  of DHOKLA mixture together and pour  this mixture into the greased dish of DHOKLA cooker.  Pour the water win cooker and a heat it for ten minutes After 10 minutes  water have boiled, then pour your DHOKLA mixture  in the  plate of cooker and set it in cooker for 10 minutes  on the low flame  of gas.  Then switch off the gas and put it in for 10 minutes.   Now DHOKLA is ready but without  tempering we cannot  serve it.  For tempering we have to take oil and heat it  spread mustered  seeds, coriander, chill   curry leaves and on other otothehand make the mixture  of lemon juice  and sugar and  spread  this mix  on the DHOKLA   Now you can serve it with  sauce and green  coriander  chutney like  snacks.  You can also  make  this popular GUJARATI  RECIPE In parties also.
